   What if you want to use Kerberos to distribute keys?  Then, you do not have 
   "plenty" pf keying material.

If you are using V5 of Kerberos, keys of arbitrary size and length can
be exchanged as part of the application request and response.  It is
up to the application to decide how to use these keys, i.e. whether it
will use different keys in different directions, or otherwise.  See
section 3.2.5 of the Kerberos RFC, RFC1510.
