IBM US Patent #5,148,479
In response to Perry Metzger's note, the text of the IBM covenant not to
sueis in my notice. If ITEF has a formal mechanism by which such a
grant is documented, IBM would be willing to engage in that bit of
bureauracy, if you think an RFC (whatever that is) will calm people's
fears. There really is nothing more to say in this matter, but we are
willing to say more if that will answer questions of IETF members.
