ADMINISTRATIVE: On Naming of Internet Drafts

IP Security WG Folks,

People must not submit Internet drafts having a name prefix of
"draft-ietf-ipsec-*" unless their draft is an official WG base
document and this fact has been sorted out with both of the WG
Chairs. Also, submissions having the prefix "draft-ietf-ipsec-*"
must be made to the co-chairs email address at the same time
(ie in the same message) as the email which submits the draft
to the Internet Drafts folks at the IETF Secretariat. This
is done so that official WG drafts are clearly distinguishable
from individual/private/other contributions.

Anyone may at any time make a submission of an Internet Draft
having a filename of the form "draft-<lastname>-*.txt" as
a personal comment or contribution.

Consequently, the recent draft by Phil Rogaway and the earlier draft
by Ashar Aziz will be deleted soon. Those individuals may resubmit
their drafts as "draft-rogaway-*" or "draft-aziz-*" if they wish
to do so.

Thank you,

Randall Atkinson <atkinson@itd.nrl.navy.mil>
Paul Lambert <Paul_Lambertemail.mot.com>

Co-Chairs, IP Security WG
