Paul and I have reviewed and discussed the feedback from the IPsec WG
Last Call on the AH transform drafts.  There is rough consensus that
both the HMAC MD5 AH and HMAC SHA AH transforms co-edited by Rob Glenn
should be issued as Proposed Standard RFCs with both being mandatory-
to-implement.  The IESG has been asked to issue both as Proposed Standard
RFCs following normal IESG procedures.  RFC-1828 will move to HISTORIC
status as a result of these transforms moving onto the standards track.
