I think Eli Biham finally broke _all_ of the tripple modes, with the
only exception of ECB-ECB-ECB (i.e. using 3DES as an encryption
engine).
I don't remember exactly, but if memory serves me, there is one more
mode, that Eli thinks secure...Checking his home page would be useful.
The paper: "Cryptanalysis of multiple modes" or such.
