Yup. I count the number of bits encrypted and divide by the "user" time
as reported by the UNIX "time" command.

Then your encryption throughput would simply be 35% of what it could
be if you could spend the whole CPU on it. But I think that would
still be acceptably fast for most networks given a 1,333 MHz
Pentium. :-)
