question in AH
Hello IPsec folks!
I have a question in AH.
In AH header there is a variable length authentication data field
that contains the Integrity Check Value (ICV) for the packet.
This field may include explicit padding to ensure that the length
of the AH header is an integral multiple of 32 bits (IPv4) or
64 bits (IPv6).
My question is
· What value should be inserted into the explicit padding bytes.
Whether a single value is inserted into all of the bytes or a
monotonically increasing value is to be stored?
