Hear, hear!! I think this is a bit out of line too. And that is also
only a personal opinion. Seems to me the bait is the press release and
the $300 is the hook. Don't know if I want to bite...

Wow! $300 for 4 continental breakfasts and 4 buffer lunches.
Dinner
is on our own. That gives Binghamton, NY a higher per-diem than
Paris,
London, or Rome. I actually heard it wasn't that nice.
This sets a bad precedent. None of the previous sponsors
charged for
the IPSec bakeoffs since they got lots of free PR. I guess IBM
wants
their cake and wants us to pay for it too. Shame. Shame.
