la Impact of Minimum MTU on Encrypted Packets

Hi

I couldn't find any RFC  that states what happens if an authenticated
and encrypted packet follows a path with MTU 68 bytes.

If tunnel encryption is used the min. lehgth of the packet will be 76
bytes according to my callulations.
IP Header = 20, AH = 24, ESP = 12, IP = 20, data = ? -> min. 76 bytes

If Path MTU Discovery returns a MTU of 68 bytes the packet can never be
sent.

Can anyone tell me a solution to this problem.
