IPsec Interoperability Workshop
On behalf of the organisers I'd like to inform as follows:
The next IPsec Interoperability workshop a.k.a Bakeoff will be held in Finland from August 13 thru 19 (Monday - Saturday). This is the week following the IETF meeting in London, so you may combine your travelling. The venue will be Dipoli (http://www.dipoli.hut.fi/english/) in Espoo (close to Helsinki) in the Helsinki University of Technology campus area. Flight destination will be Helsinki (Helsinki-Vantaa international airport - about 3 hour flight from London), the Bakeoff venue is under 30 minute (20 km) drive south-west from the airport, 10 km (6 miles) from downtown Helsinki.
The event will start on Monday afternoon i.e. the participants may start installing their equipment then. The final day is Saturday, all equipment must be removed Saturday afternoon. There will be no storage space available before the bakeoff, therefore, you will have to schedule arrival of your equipment to Monday afternoon.
The nearest hotel is Radisson SAS Espoo (http://www.hotelsfinland.com/espoo/rivoli_espoo/) only two minutes walk from Dipoli. We have reserved some 100 rooms for bakeoff attendees. If you book your hotel room at this hotel through your own channels already before registering, please, mention Bakeoff when making the reservation. Other hotels are available in Helsinki, next closest is probably Kalastajatorppa (http://www.scandic-hotels.com/br/50/hotel.asp?id=107) about 4 km (2.5 miles) from Dipoli.
