Re: Freedback: Comments IPsec Expert

When I started designing and deploying IPsec Expert, I was thinking on
create an application that would guide step by step to planning a secure
network using IPsec. But the information that I could get was about how
IPsec works (the inner parts - RFC2401 - RFC2402 - RFC2406 RFC2411), and
that kind of information doesn't tell me how to deploy IPsec at all. Looking
at IPsec List I couldn't understand more about how to configure it. The only
information that helped me was about interoperability problems (Implementing
IPsec: Making security work on VPNs, Intranets, and Extranets).

The idea is that I can do an application that aid to anyone who want
configure or plan a secure network, but just if I can get information that
tell me how do it first. I don't know if that kind of information exists,
but certainly just people that have experience working on IPsec can provide
the right information to form the knowledge base of the expert system. The
members of IPsec List are the perfect knowledge source.

Besides, everyone can take advantage with the developing of IPsec Expert due
to this is an application that anyone can use, freely, and wherever part of
the world. This is the opportunity to put all the knowledge that you have in
one place, ready to use and with the information that you want.

Thanks for your time, and I will be open to any suggestion.

> While your application covers most of the common things to keep in mind
when deploying IPSec (I really like to warnings offered in the final
analysis), it would be appropriate to create a tool with some additional
flexibility. In otherwords, it appears that the final analysis is somewhat
canned and not entirely intuitive on the individual users unique situation.
