=> this is especially true in an IPv6 environment. In fact, if DHCPv6
is not the prefered address allocation mechanism (stateless autoconf
is used nearly everywhere), it is the mechanism of choice for
prefix allocation.
I won't complain if the modecfg for IPv6 can handle only prefix
allocations (note this is easier than the current option :-).
