RE: clarification on IKEv2 with EAP




I hadn't understood that was the string itself. Actually I thought the opposite, the shared secret could be something predefined in the initiator and responder, and the key pad something changeable. Thank you. The clarifications you are providing me are very useful.

The key pad is always a predefined string (17 bytes, 0x4b (K) 
0x65 (e) 0x79 (y) 0x20 (space) and so on). The user-entered
string (if any) is the shared secret.
