[Ipsec] ICMP Type/Code in Traffic Selector?

I quickly browsed the IKEv2-14 would like some clarification on use of
ICMP Type/Code in traffic selector.

There are two traffic selectors (initiator and responder).

- is the ICMP Type/Code supposed/required to be same on both sets?

- what is the interpretation if ICMP Type/Code (ranges/specifications)
  are different in responder and initiator sets?
