Re: dam-l towns submerged by lakes
The Digital Gazeteer of the Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) has
prepared a database of US places. As a part of the database, 57 places have
been identified as "inundated". I have included the names below in tab
separated format. The field included are: Place Name, State, County,
Latitude, Longitude, Bibliography Code, Description, and History.
Additional information about the Digital Gazeteer can be found at:
