The International Water Law Project website
(http://home.att.net/~intlh2olaw/) was recently launched to faciliate
research on international water law and policy and related topics. Features
of the site include:
* Full text of many international and regional water treaties and
agreements. This list will steadily expand to include historic agreements
that are not readily accessible to researchers;
* Case law on water disputes by international and regional tribunals; while
this is restricted to citations at this point, it is our intention to scan
these cases and post them on the site;
* An extensive bibliography of literature on international water law,
including the full text of some publications;
* Links to other useful web sites on water issues.
Other future plans for the site include a Calendar section to track
international water law meetings and full text of proceedings from
important
meetings in this context. If you wish to be informed when content is added
to the site in the future, please sign up for the site's announcement list,
found on the site's opening page.
The project was developed by Gabriel Eckstein, and Wil Burns of the Pacific
Institute for Studies in Development, Environment, and Security.
