dam-l LS: Narmada Water Level Rising Fast

Dear Friends,
The water level at the dam site is 93 mts (its highest point in August was
98.5 mts)
and rising at a  pace of 2 cms per hour right now. The water
level at Rajghat (Nimad region, MP) is 119 mts (last time when the
submergence came it
was 126 mts). Nineteen gates of Bargi Dam (upstream of the Nimad) were
opened up as there was
heavy rain there. The officials at Rajghat said that the waters will
reach the level of last time by say tomorrow afternoon. This time all
satyagrahis will not be at Jalsindhi and Domkhedi alone but will also be in
the other villages in houses where the waters will enter. Medha too will
not be at Domkhedi. All satyagrahis have  dispersed to other villages
like Domkhedi, Pipalchop, Sikka,  Bharad, all in Maharashtra and
Jalsindhi in MP. Last time apart from Domkhedi, Pipalchop and Sikka were
severely affected. Administration is totally out of sight
in Both MP and Maharashtra.

  People in the valley and the Satyagrahis are all prepared to face the
waters.
