HEADLINE: Business Briefs: New hydroelectric plant for the north
The Prime Minister has asked Electricity of Vietnam to boost
preparations on a project to build a hydroelectric power plant in the
northern province of Tuyen Quang. The Na Hang Plant comprises four
generators with a capacity of 300 megawatts and a reservoir capable of
holding 1.6 billion cubic meters. The feasibility study will be
submitted to the Government at the beginning of the fourth quarter,
Thoi Bao Kinh Te Viet Nam reports.
