This reply just received from a friend (quickly followed by 4 others)-

The email virus alert you sent is a hoax.  You are deleting a regular system file.  Here is the link that describes it:
http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/sulfnbk.exe.warning.html



So, if you did not yet delete the file, don't.  

If (like me) you did, this link provides instructions on how to retrieve it.
