REMINDER:Ottawa premier of BURMA DIARY

In honour of Human Rights Day
Canadian Friends of Burma presents an Ottawa premiere showing of

                                BURMA DIARY

For four years, filmmaker Jeane Hallacy followed Tint Aung, a Burmese
student living in the jungle at the Thai-Burma border. Through the
filmmaker's personal diary of friendship with him and his family, Tint
Aung's story is told, from his role in the 1988 uprising to his struggle to
survive in the jungle, and his political vision for the future. The film
gives a passionate insight into the challenges and hopes of the democratic
movement in Burma.
