The Struggle for Human Rights and Social Justice in Guatemala -May 13



Guatemalan activist, Roberto Miranda, will speak about the assassination of
his brother, Willy, a student activist in Guatemala, his own fight for
social justice and subsequent flight from his homeland to escape death
squads. The talk will be held Wednesday, May 13 at 7:30 p.m. at First
United Church, 397 Kent Street (at Florence).

Sponsored by Project Accompaniment Committee of Ottawa, part of a
Canada-wide network of solidarity groups supporting the struggle for human
rights and social justice in Guatemala by recruiting and training Canadians
to be human rights observers.
