School of Assassins, Dinner Aug 21
The Unitarian Universalist Societies of Ottawa invite you to
"Close the School of the Assassins!"
A Dinner to Honour Nick Cardell
Friday, August 21, 1998 at the Old Tudor Inn
3750 Bowesville Rd., Ottawa - Free Parking
Guest of Honour Cathy Cradell (Nick's wife)
and Sarah Lucas (arrested with Nick while protesting at the
School of the Assassins)
6:30 p.m. Cash Bar and exhibit of Silent Auction Items
7:30 p.m. Dinner
$25 per person. Donation over that amount is tax
receioptable.

Nick Cardell, a 73 year old Unitarian Minister in Stracuse
NY, was convicted of trespassing at the School of the
Americas. This is the school where the US Army has trained
thousands of Latin American military members in torture
techniques and how to organize coups. Over two thousand
people staged a non-violent protest at the school earlier
this year. Many are still in jail, including Nick.
