Welfare Recipients for Fair Employment (WRFE) Meeting August 27
There will be a Welfare Recipients for Fair Employment (WRFE) Meeting
at 5:30pm, Thursday, August 27. The meeting will take place at 256 King
Edward St (3rd floor). This space is wheelchair accessible.
Targets for action and outreach strategies will be amongst the items on the
agenda.
WRFE is an independent defence organization that is not funded by any
organization, and relies on voluntary labour in its operations. It is an
organization for and of social assistance recipients and their allies in the
community to fight against workfare and for real jobs. We do not support
workfare in any shape or form.
