Vintage wine auction
Vintage Wine Auction
On Thursday, October 8th, 1998 the National Capital Region Branch of the
United Nations Association in Canada will be holding a silent and a live
auction of donated vintage wines from Austria, France, Italy, Portugal,
and Spain at the National Press Club on Wellington Street at 6:30pm. The
auction will commence following a wine and cheese reception. The
proceeds from the auction will be directed towards funding for
educational programs in schools throughout the National Capital Region.
Local celebrity Dave Smith will be the MC and Auctioneer of the event.
Admission is $12 in advance, and $15 at the door. For ticket
