The lead story on the Sunday January 10th editon of "Undercurrents" -- to be aired at 10:30 p.m. on CBC National TV -- will be:
"Hijacking a public opinion survey."
When a local news program asked their viewers what they thought of
the Ontario government's plans for giving the private sector more
control over crown land, the response was overwhelming - and almost
entirely pro-government. Wendy Mesley reveals how the survey results
were cooked by the forest industry.
