On Mothers' Day 1997, the Coalition to Oppose the Arms Trade, set up a
display of Iraqi children's paintings inside the National Capital Air
Show. This documentary juxtaposes numerous contradictory images and
interviews from Canada and Iraq. It raises questions about the use of
warplanes as family entertainment, the militarisation of our culture
(particularly children), and the effect of the Gulf War and sanctions on
families in Iraq.

Introduction to the documentary:
* Richard Sanders (producer/director, "Mothers' Day at the War Show")

Closing Words:
* Marion Dewar (Chair of Oxfam Canada and former Mayor of Ottawa)
