Book Launch for Local Author
Dennis Lewycky has just had a new book published! Please join us to
celebrate with him !
"Equal Shares:Oodi Weavers and the Cooperative Experience" is the history of
a group of people who changed the economic life of their community. The
authors examine a key community based co-op in Botswana that was launched in
the early 1970's and is hailed as a model for development and social change.
"As the workers weave their village stories into the tapestries, the book
weaves a story that depicts their evolving experience in all its didactic
and local colour.
This should be a fascinating and fun evening - please join us for wine &
