The School of the Americas Watch-Carleton presents a talk by 

Professor Bill Skidmore

Topic: U.S aided violence in Guatemala and Chiapas

When and Where: Tuesday, November 2, 7:30 p.m, Room 2203 Dunton Tower,
		Carleton University (Take the 7 or the 4 bus)

  For more than fifty years the US Army's School of the Americas has trained
soldiers from Latin America, many of whom have gone on to torture, rape,
assassinate, massacre and "disappear" citizens from their countries. 
  
  This summer Bill Skidmore, an instructor in human rights at Carleton
University, traveled with a delegation from School of the Americas Watch
to investigate US aided military violence against the people of Guatemala
and Chiapas, Mexico. 
  
  He will be speaking about this delegation on Tuesday, November 2 at 7:30
p.m., in room 2203 Dunton Tower. Admission is free and all are welcome.
