COME AND MEET MEMBERS OF A PERUVIAN CHILD RIGHTS GROUP.
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 9TH, 7 P.M.
Jack Purcell Community Centre
Manthoc is a Peruvian non-governmental organization that supports the
movement of child and adolescent workers in Peru. It provides food,
education and skills building for children and youth, as well as adult
accompaniment and support to youth who organize on local, national and
international levels to improve the quality of their lives.
Come and meet Ela Dorena Perez Alva, a social worker and coordinator of
an institution for young children and teenagers, Wiston Ochoa Cabrera,
one of the youth who is a member of the national coordinating body for
children and teenage workers of Manthoc, and Maeve Sullivan, a CUSO
cooperant working with Manthoc.
