International Women's Day event
Celebrate International Women's Day at the Conference and Annual General
Meeting of the Canadian Committee for the United Nations Development Fund
for Women (UNIFEM) Saturday, March 4 from 9 a.m. at the National Press
Club, 126 Sparks Street, Ottawa. Speakers from UNESCO, CIDA, UNIFEM,
South-Asia Partnership and other concerned organizations
will address how we can help create a "Culture of Peace" to combat war
and civil strife and itsconsequent violence against women and children.
$25 fee includes a full luncheon and a contribution to UNIFEM. Pay at
