earth*tones (urth' tohnz), noun. 1. "a youthful subgroup interested in
vegetarianism, tie-dyed outfits, mild recreational drugs, and good stereo
equipment" (definition in generation x, by doug coupland).
2. a place where people of all ages can get together and drum and dance
to world beat rhythms. 3. benefit for opirg-carleton's forestry group.
4. funnest place to be on a sunday night - join the circle, or be square.
5. one of the few places in town where you can find djembes, flutes,
a saxophone, xylophone, and doombeks in the same room.
