[OPIRG-EVENTS] Fair Trade Fair

Guatemalan Fair Trade Coffee Farmers Visit Ottawa
September 15, 2000 as part of a Fair Trade Fair being held
at Carleton University.

Come and hear the remarkable story of Hipolito Nicolas Mateo and
Baltazar Francisco Miguel - fair trade coffee growers from Guatemala - at
Baker Lounge, Carleton University, from 2.30-4.40 p.m. on
September 15.

Or catch them at LOEB Glebe from 5-7 p.m. on the same day,@754 Bank St.

A great opportunity to learn more about the rapidly growing fair trade
movement worldwide, and how it contributes to the lives and communities
of Southern farmers.

Free fair trade coffee at both events!

The organisers include the Canadian Council for International Co-operation
(CCIC), Ontario Public Interest Research Group (OPIRG) Carleton U,
Carleton Local Committee of the World University Service of Canada (WUSC),
