[OPIRG-EVENTS] What kind of World?
What kind of World...?
Information Session
When: Wednesday October 11, 6-8pm
Where: OPIRG Office, 326 UC
What is it: Volunteer Training
What kind of World..? Utilizes volunteers in reaching the following objectives
among students:
- Increased awareness among youth of international problems and possible
solutions;
- Increased understanding among youth of the UN and its work;
- Increased understanding among youth of Canada's role on the international
stage;
- Increased enthusiasm among youth for learning about global issues;and
- An increased sense of empowerment from finding solutions to global problems.
