                        VIGIL FOR RACIAL HARMONY

          Mourning a Death:  Building a Just Community

	The Eternal Flame, Parliament Hill
	1:30 pm, Saturday, October 28, 2000

Ahmed Ali Hashi, a young man from Somalia. was beaten to death in Ottawa
on March 17, 1999.  This tragic death diminishes us all. 

Come to mourn his death and to call for a community which gives expression
to the Unviersal Declaration of Human Rights:

		"All human beings 
		are born free
		and equal 
		in dignity."
