[OPIRG-EVENTS] ROCK THE DEBATES!!!
CALLING ALL ACTIVISTS!!
The time is once again upon us - the Federal Election Debates.
What: A gathering of concerned individuals, organizations, groups, etc. who
intend to remind those involved in the debates of important environmental
issues
Date: Thursday November 9
Time: gather around 7pm, debates begin at 8pm
Place: National Art Centre, 53 Elgin (at Queen)
Objective: To reflect the environmental concerns of Canadians by bringing
the issues to the politicians, media and general public. Polling data shows
that
environmental issues are important to voters - yet the party leaders have
failed to address them
as such!
Healthy Environment = Healthy Economy, Healthy Canadians, and a prosperous
future!
Bring : The questions you want asked & the voice to ask them!
