[OPIRG-EVENTS] december 6 vigil (fwd)

The First United Church is organizing a vigil for women on Wed. Dec.
6th, 2000 on the National Day of Rememberance and Action on Violence
Against Women.  This memorial will begin at 6 pm at the Women's Monument
in Minto Park, and is scheduled to end at 6:45 pm.  The tributes will be
done in English and French, and each woman is encouraged to bring a red
flower.

A memorial service will follow at 7 pm at First United Church, which is
open to both women and men.
