bring a drum or other acoustic instrument if you have one,
and join our celebration of sound - every sunday night at arts court.
earth*tones (urth' tohnz), noun. 1. "a youthful subgroup interested in
vegetarianism, tie-dyed outfits, mild recreational drugs, and good stereo
equipment" (definition in "generation x", by doug coupland).
2. a place where people of all ages can get together and drum and dance.
3. a benefit for opirg-carleton, an environmental and social justice group.
4. funnest place to be on a sunday night - join the circle, or be square.
5. one of the few places in town where you can find djembes, flutes,
a xylophone, and doombeks in the same room.
