[OPIRG-EVENTS] Introduction to Socially Responsible Investment
Good evening dear SRI supporters:
I inadvertently gave the date for the meeting on the theme "Introduction
to Socially Responsible Investing" as January 12 when I intended Monday,
February 12 at 7 p.m. at Immaculata High School, 140 Main Street,
Ottawa. I very much regret any inconvenience this error on my part might
have caused.
Please RSVP as I need to know how large a room (and screen for the film
"Sex, Lies and the Global Economy" featuring Marilynn Warring) we need
to book.

For late winter reading may I suggest two books on ethical investing just
out: "50 Best Ethical Stocks for Canadians" by Deb Abbey and Michael
Jantzi and "The Ethical Investor. A Guide to Socially Responsible
Investing in Canada" by David Skinner
