[OPIRG-EVENTS] Seeds Of Hope seminars start March 12/01




I would appreciate it if you would print/circulate the following. This
is the 3rd spring that Befriending The Earth has offered hands on course
- fresh input, videos, speakers, each year.

Monday, March 12. SEEDS OF HOPE, the first of 6 weekly  practical
seminars on organic home gardening begins,  7:15P - 9:30P, at Bethany
Baptist Church (lower assembly hall), cr. of Baseline Road and
Centrepointe Drive W. Learn how to grow your own healthy food and
flowers in Earth (and people) enriching ways.  Includes seed starting,
transplanting, composting, soil/bed preparation and organic non-toxic
pest control.  Talks, videos, hands-on practice. Facilitators: Isobel
McGregor and Gillian Boyd,  plus other local organic growers.
Cost $30 (includes soil, seeds, handouts and refreshments). To register
call Isobel at 820-0598. Registration limited.

Tuesday, March 13. SEEDS OF HOPE, 6 morning seminars  begin, 9:30A -
11:45A. See above.  To register call Isobel at 820-0598.
