A labour and disability-rights activist Miriam will read from her book, My
Journey With Jake, a poignant memoir by a devoted mother and a hard-hitting
look at health care for Canada's children.
Edelson raises tough questions: How do we, as a society, care for children
with disabilities and special needs?, Are Canada's health-care systems
failing our children? How do working parents cope?
