With Richard Guy Briggs, who has worked as the
electrical systems coordinator for the University
of Ottawa's solar car team at Sunrayce 93.
He has taken part in solar car rayces in Canada,
the U.S. and Australia.
3:15-4:45 p.m. Nuclear Issues and Alternative Energy
Discussion facilitated by Kristen Ostling, Campaign
for Nuclear Phaseout; Jamie Kneen, MiningWatch Canada;
John Bennett, Sierra Club of Canada; and members of
OPIRG-Carleton's Radioactivists.
5:00-6:30 p.m. Workshop on Solar & Wind Power
Presented by Arbour Environmental Shoppe. Learn about
how you can use solar and wind power in your home,
and save money and the planet at the same time.
