[OPIRG-EVENTS] support noncorporate radio

The 2001 Funding Drive of CHUO-FM89, the University of Ottawa's bilingual,
non-commercial radio station IS NOW ON, and runs until April 8. Money
raised allows CHUO to continue broadcasting.

YOU CAN SUPPORT "CLICK HERE" AND "DEMOCKERY'S DEMIZE", SHOWS WHICH
REGULARLY ANNOUNCE EVENTS POSTED ON THIS LISTSERV, AND REGULARLY INTERVIEW
PEOPLE CONNECTED WITH THESE EVENTS, IN ONE OF TWO WAYS:

1) PREFERRED METHOD
Make an advance pledge by emailing us with the following information:
     1. Your name
     2. A mailing address
     3. A phone number
     4. The amount you wish to pledge

Our email addresses are:

Wed. April 4 5-6 pm

"Demockery's Demize"
Mon. March 26 5-6 pm
Mon. April 2 5-6 pm

Your pledge ensures that CHUO-FM will continue to stay on the air, and it
lets that station know that you support radio that covers activist issues.

In exchange for your donation, you may choose between coming into the
station and picking up a giveaway of equivalent value to the donation, or
(for donations of $25 or more) receiving a tax receipt. If you are
interested in a giveaway, let us know.

You will receive a form in the mail to pay your pledge in the next few
weeks.

Thank you for your support and for the statement it makes about
alternative media.

Sincerely,
