THE SATAN MACNUGGIT VIDEO ROAD SHOW

Satan Macnuggit Popular Arts is proud to present the
first Satan Macnuggit Video Road Show - a
cross-country, three-hour-plus showcase of the very
best stuff from our growing catalogue of DIY, punk and
activist video.
This evening features three distinct programmes:
"Short Subjects" features a varied selection of
appetizers, from music videos to masked wrestlers to
manic social commentary.
"Newsreels" focuses on the explicitly activist, and
kinetically anarchic, highlights of the burgeoning
anti-documentary underground.
Finally, "Feature Presentations" ends with deeper and
meatier explorations into punk, puppets, pizza and
propaganda.
This tour will also represent the world premiere of
two Toronto works - "How Does It Work?", an
exploration of found-footage propaganda by tour host
Jonathan Culp; and "Tear Gas Holiday," a super-compact
Quebec City insurrection video, by the Toronto Video
Activist Collective.
Stop dancing the multiplex mambo already. Check out
the Satan Macnuggit Video Road Show - and bear witness
to the birth of visual rock and roll.
