[OPIRG-EVENTS] After Quebec City? - panel discussion - June 5th @ 7 pm




PUBLIC MEETING:
WHICH WAY FORWARD FOR THE EXTRA-PARLIAMENTARY LEFT AFTER QUEBEC CITY?

The protest in Quebec City raised many questions about how to stop the
capitalist version of globalization. This meeting will feature four
speakers, representing different views about the future of the Left, who
will talk about how best to build on the momentum coming out of Quebec City.

SPEAKERS:
Tony Clarke, Director of the Polaris Institute and Co-author of Global
Showdown: How the New Activists are Fighting Global Corporate Rule
Catherine Louli, Ottawa area trade unionist and member of Independent Media
Centre - Ottawa
David McNally, member of the organizing committee of Rebuilding the Left
(Toronto), and chair of OCAP Allies
Jaggi Singh, member of the Anti-Capitalist Convergence (CLAC)
