[OPIRG-EVENTS] solidarity picket - Saturday June 2nd

Solidarity Picket
Walk the picket line with the members of Local 70397 of the Public Service
Alliance of Canada (PSAC), the workers at the National Gallery of Canada
and the Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography.
Saturday, June 2, 2001
10 am - 2 pm
Entrance to the National Gallery
corner Sussex & St. Patrick St.
The members of the PSAC local 70397 have been on strike since May 10. They
are facing an employer that is more interested in giving raises to
themselves than dealing fairly with their employees. The management of the
National Gallery is trying to convince the public that everything is
business as usual and that the workers are alone on the picket line. Let's
show the management otherwise. Come out and support the line!
