[OPIRG-EVENTS] volunteer at the Ottawa Fringe Festival
What: The Ottawa Fringe Festival Volunteer Information Session
When: Saturday June 16 & Sunday June 17
11-5pm, just stop by for a half an hour either day
Where: Ottawa Arts Court Studio, 2 Daly, 2nd Floor
How: Phone the Volunteer Coordinator 234-5401 or email
volunteers@ottawafringe.com to get more information and apply to volunteer.
Come to the information session on either day! Bring a friend!
Why: The Fringe Festival needs over 300 volunteers to run this ten day
festival from June 22-July 1st. The Fringe Festival is a festival of
theatre, visual art, dance, buskers, film & video and youth on the fringe.
It is an unjuried, uncensored festival. Performers are given a space where
they receive all of the money of the box office sales. Anything goes in
the Fringe! In exchange, we provide them with the volunteers to sell
tickets for their shows; work as Fringe Guides to distribute the programs
and direct patrons; bartend in the St. Ambroise Fringe Tent; and do
security and administration. - This could be you!!
