A demonstration to commemorate the August 8, 1988 massacre and to protest 
the continuous human rights violations that are taking place in Burma will 
be held on August 8, 2001 at 7 pm.  The location of this demonstration is 
85 Range Road.  This will be followed by a march (at approximately 8 pm) to 
the Human Rights Monument at the corner of Laurier Ave and Elgin Street.  A 
vigil will begin at 8:30 pm and will last until approximately 9:30 pm.  For 
further information please call Soha at the office of Canadian Friends of 
Burma at 237-8056.
