WEB-BASED EDUCATION CAMPAIGN ON LANDRIGHTS IN BIHAR (INDIA) LAUNCHED
South Asia Partnership (SAP) Canada has launched a web-based, education
campaign about landrights in Bihar, India. The Bihar "Padyatra", a march for
land rights in Bihar, starts on September 11, 2001, in India. Inspired by
the plight of the landless in Bihar, Ottawa activist Pat Love is leading a
march (padyatra) from Ottawa to Peterborough to express solidarity for the
Bihar Padyatra and to bring attention to the social housing crisis in
Ontario. Ottawa residents, please come to the launch of this march on
September 12, 2001 at the Ottawa City Hall, 110 Laurier Avenue West, at
