Dear Friends, As a volunteer with Ottawa Friends of Tibet, I can highly
recommend their annual dinner as a very entertaining evening for a very
worthwhile cause. Please come out and/or contribute.
The Ottawa Friends of Tibet present:
Our 5th Annual Fundraising Dinner
Saturday, October 20th, 2001
Tudor Hall, 3750 Bowesville Road (off Riverside)
Cocktails and Sales Tables open at 6:00 pm
Dinner, Presentation, Performance & Auction from 7pm to 10pm
Tickets $35 per person, Children and Students $30
Come out to support a great cause that helps Tibetan refugee projects and enjoy:

Lacharity, host of CBC Radio One's 'Ottawa Morning'
b.. A Pictorial Account of the 1947 Canadian Photo Expedition to Tibet
- presented by Norman Reid and Ryszard Cimek

d.. A Live Auction hosted by local restaurateur and celebrity Dave Smith
and Robert Maxwell of the NewRO featuring many incredible artifacts from
Tibet, Nepal and India including handcrafted Tibetan wool carpets
