Subject: Baobab Youth Film Screening

Footsteps to Ghana the film

Screening & Reception
with an introduction by His Excellency the High Commissioner for Ghana
and reception sponsored by Thyme & Again Creative Catering

This exciting film has captured the essence of the remarkable journey
that Baobab Youth Performers took to Ghana in July 2001.
Directed by François DesRochers, it features interviews with Kwasi Dunyo
and Kathy Armstrong, as well as individuals in the group
as they experience the highs and lows of crossing cultures. Travel with
them to Kakum Rainforest Park, Elmina Slave Castle,
the vibrant city of Accra and, of course, Kwasi’s home village of
Dagbamete. See performances from Baobab Youth as well as local
Ghanaian groups. The sights and sounds will make you laugh and cry. Not
to be missed!
